DIY or Call Us?

There’s a honest line here. Mr-Glass paver systems sit on a compacted base that requires a plate compactor running at 5,000 pounds of centrifugal force; hand-tamping leaves voids that show up as sinkage in six months. Worse, the Inland Empire’s clay soils expand and contract with moisture; without the right base depth and drainage slope, the repair fails faster than the original.

We don’t recommend DIY removal of GlassKote or Prism overlays. The grinding dust contains silica, and the substrate assessment - whether the concrete below is sound or spalling - takes a trained eye.
